A sample issue

What the email would say if it went out on Thursday, October 8, 2026: the weekend town by town, from the same listings the guides show.

This is a sample, not a sent issue. It is generated from the listings each time the site is built, last on October 7, 2026, so it changes through the week. Sign up for the real one.

New on the guides

  • Fort Collins Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising — CSU's museum of dress and textiles, in the east wing of the University Center for the Arts: a collection of about 20,000 garments and textiles from many cultures and centuries. Free.
  • Fort Collins CSU Flower Trial Garden — The university's test garden across from the University Center for the Arts: more than a thousand varieties of annuals in bloom from late May through October, free and open every day in daylight.
  • Fort Collins Gregory Allicar Museum of Art — CSU's art museum, inside the University Center for the Arts: eight or nine exhibitions a year from a 3,000-object collection and visiting shows. Always free.
  • Fort Collins Lory Student Center — The heart of the CSU campus for a visitor: the CSU Bookstore for Rams gear, more than fifteen places to eat, an information desk and a theatre, on the plaza at the centre of campus.
  • Fort Collins Moby Arena — Colorado State's 8,083-seat, whale-backed arena on the north-west side of campus, home to Rams basketball and volleyball since its dedication in January 1966, and the loudest room in Fort Collins on a rivalry night.
  • Fort Collins University Center for the Arts — Colorado State's arts building on Remington Street: Griffin Concert Hall, the Organ Recital Hall, the University Theatre and studio stages, and two free museums, with more than 250 performances and exhibitions a year.

Closed

  • Berthoud Bradford's Grub & Grog — Reported closed on February 21, 2026, ahead of the sale of the building (Retro 102.5). That rests on one report and has not yet been confirmed with the owners.
  • Windsor Chimney Park Restaurant & Bar — Closed since a kitchen fire in summer 2025. As of October 2026 its own site says it "remains closed following our kitchen fire this past summer", with a reopening it estimates but has not dated.
  • Windsor Future Legends Complex — Closed to the public since the spring of 2025. A Weld County judge placed the complex under a receiver, and its owners filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in July 2026 (KUNC, BizWest). Nothing here is open to visitors.
